The Jacksonville Historical Society now has its own cable television show. The Jacksonville History Show comes to you on Comcast Channel 29 in most of the North Florida viewing area:



On the next edition of The Jacksonville History Show, part two of an oral history interview with Norm Davis, crusading television journalist.  Norm talks about the early days of radio and television.  It's a fascinating conversation about his career at WRUF in Gainesville and WJXT in Jacksonville.

The show can be seen on Comcast Channel 29 at 8:00 p.m., July 15 and at various unscheduled times throughout the month.  The program can also be seen on this website soon after it airs.

Also, part one of the Norm Davis interview, in which he discusses the TV crusades that helped pave the way for Jacksonville's consolidated government, can be seen on this website.
