Queen of Sea Routes is a history of the Baltimore-based Merchants and
Miners
Transportation company which flourished for a hundred years hauling
freight and
passengers on the East Coast. It is co-published with the Steamship
Historical
Society of America.

is a great tale of Merchants and Miners Transportation Company. Not
only is the
content of the book excellent, but so is the design and layout of the
book.
This
a hardback volume features 177 photographs, plans and advertisements,
many of
which have not been published before. This is a great history and a
great book.
Edward A. Mueller
is a professional engineer who has written extensively on maritime
history. He
has served the Jacksonville, FL Maritime Museum as curator, president
and
executive director. He is a former editor of Steamboat Bill, the
journal of the
SSHSA, and was Florida's first secretary of transportation. He lives in
Jacksonville, FL.
